Praying For A Car

About a year ago we started to look for a different car. Our van had 229,000 miles on it and it was time to retire it. I wished for a gold color and Dad wished for Stow N Go seats. We had saved the money for it, so we needed a certain price and we wanted reletively low mileage. This was our request. After looking for awhile we weren't seeing any Stow N Go seats so Larry gave that up. I wasn't so quick to give up the gold color however, but thought I might have to when we discoved a silver one that was very nice. Before we bought it however God led us to look one more place. And there we found a gold one that met all the requirements and it even had Stow N Go seats. And there you have it what we have known all along, God delights to give his children the desires of their hearts. We thank Him.

Giving Thanks for our New Car

Here is the car we recently purchased. We are excited about our new purchase. It is gold in color. These pictures were taken at dusk and the color may not show up as good as it could. It is basically an updated version of our other car and we have always enjoyed our van.

Our trip to Milwaukee

What fun to see Josiah and Jack in August. Jackson had really grown. He was so smilely and that was really fun for us.
CUTE!

Josiah's visit

Time for Josiah's visit with Grandpa and Grandma. Because it was impossible this summer to get him to Meriden, we went to Milwaukee to visit him. We did a lot of fun things. Some are pictured below.
Eating nuggets at McDonalds. Trying out the new birthday present
Celebrating birthday #2.

Going to the zoo.

Seeing animals at the fair.

Playing at a playground.
We love you Josiah. It was so much fun to spend time with you. We did so many fun things. It was hard to say good-bye.

Hurray It Is Time For Jonny's First Alone Visit To Meriden

We have looked forward for along time to when Jonathan would be old enough to stay alone for a visit. After the move to Kentucky we weren't sure it would work out. But it did. We had so much fun and Jonathan did real good. Following are some snaps of our visit.

Playing at Grandma's and Grandpa's House

Motorcycles

Jonathan is into anything with wheels. While at our house he had fun with this "motorcycle" and our long driveway. He calls all riding toys motorcycles. We had fun watching him. We love you Jonathan. Come again soon.

Fun at the Fair

While Jonathan was here we went to the Plymouth County Fair. We had so much fun looking at the farm animals, sitting on tractors and eating ice cream. Grandpa loves sharing his farming heritage with his grandsons.
