Everywhere we went we took the trains. Can't park a car in New York. This is grand central station. Yes there really is one and it is magnificent. I loved it. Waiting for the subway.

Should have put this below. The impressive Empire State building. (Close up)

Tour of New York

We took a tour on a double decker bus around the city of New York. We saw all the high points and it was a great experience. Below are some highlights. They gave us opportunity to get off and look around.
Statue of Liberty. Impressive sight.

Unique building, called the flat iron building. There were many wonderful old buildings in the city.

United Nations building. You can see the flags at the bottom of the picture.
Inside a very beautiful church. This is just a small sampling of what was inside. I believe it was Trinity Church.

Eating in New York

Eating is fun where ever one goes. We had fun eating in New York. Here are some shots of our New York eating. This was in a restaurant near Ground Zero. We have Unity's Aunt joining us. MacDonald's on Times Square.

Larry and I thought the Hot Dog Stands were fun,
Irish Pub with Unity's Uncle.

Larry and Matt, hot dogs again. New York Pizza (thin curst) with another of Unity's Uncles.

Rockerfeller Center

This is where the Today Show is televised. The area behind us is the skating rink. In summer it is filled with umbrella tables for eating. Flags surround this center.
