Ostercamp family Thanksgiving 2010

The family gathered in Meriden for Thanksgiving, 2010. We had a wonderful time together. Sadly two of our number were missing. Chaun and Unity didn't make it this time. We had lots of special moments and these following pictures captured some of them. We also had a special visit from Aunt Donna but sadly no pictures of that. We start with Matt carving the delicious turkey. The adult table. This year it included Emily and Alise.

The kids table.

This visit was also little Eleanor Mae's debut. She was all smiles.

Coloring with Aunt Sarah. Celebrating Sarah's birthday in the motel the night before Black Friday. These girls got up early and went shopping.

Emily and Alise with their new sleeping bags. All the kids got sleeping bags for Christmas.

Playing games.

Too cute.

My trusty dish washer - always willing, Natalie Gracie, one of the few times she came out of hiding.
Double trouble and double cute!

Playing cars.

Cousins in matching vests (Emily and Katelyn)
Grandpa and Katelyn - he was her constant friend. :)
Three buddies.

A visit from the Bergmeiers

Chaun and Becky and family came to visit us in October. We loved having them. We were especially excited because Chaun got to come also and that doesn't always get to happen. Here are the kids in a pose with Grandpa and Grandma just before they left to go home. (This post is out of order. It should have appeared after our Minn. trip and before the GI trip. Oh well, better late than never.) We got to see sweet baby Eleanor again and on this visit she decided to smile. That was special. She is about 6 weeks old.

Soaking up sweet baby Ellie. Jonny spent lots of time working - raking the leaves into a big pile.

Katie enjoying the tire swing.

A visit to the Apple Orchard

We visited the apple orchard on a beautiful fall day. Ellie under the apple tree.
Yummmmmmmm

A yummy apple right off the tree!

A visit to the Pumpkin Patch

Here Grandpa and the kiddos are entering the corn maze. This was a favorite. Jonny loved to pull the wagon with him. I pretended to get lost in the maze and Jonny thought it was fun to try and find me.

Getting Pumpkins

We loved having you here. Each visit is special. You are all growing and changing and are always loads of fun. Please come back soon.

A Fall Trip to GrandIsland

The first of November we traveled to GrandIsland to see my family. First stop was to see Scott and Liz. Sadly I didn't think to take their picture. We really enjoyed our visit with them. Second stop was at Grandma and Grandpa's grave. Again I reflect on how thankful I am that they found Christ in their life journey and gave me and my children a chance to know him also.
Next stop was to see little baby Emerson. Of course I really enjoyed holding her. I was fun to see where Tyson and Jenny live and hang out with them a little.

A nice family picture. Sweet baby Emerson.

Emerson with Aunt Liz. We did note however that I am the GREAT Aunt. :)
Eating at "Old Chicago". If you look close you can see everyone. You can see a sliver of my gray head.
