The Peach Pit

When our children were young I used to pick cherries and make pies from them. We always said if anyone found a cherry pit in their pie they could turn it in for a quarter. Since I missed a pit now and then several quarters were collected. Our son David and his family were home recently and I made a fresh peach pie. While eating his piece Dave found this. I couldn't believe it, but I had let a peach pit slip through. "Wow", he said, "if a cherry pit is worth a quarter this big boy should be worth a dollar". After I laughed until I cried, I paid him his dollar.

Josiah Visits

Time for Josiah to have an alone visit to Meriden. We were soooo excited for him to come. This is my favorite picture of the visit. It is of Grandpa and Josiah looking at a horse at the fair.Josiah had a lot of fun playing with the toys at Grandpa and Grandma's.

We ate our meals outside in the screen tent. That was fun.

Playing at the park. Horse fun.
Eating at McDonald's.

Playing, playing. playing.

Fair fun

We went to the Plymouth County fair and had fun seeing tractors, 4 wheelers and many animals.

Josiah's Birthday

Since Josiah's birthday was only a few days away, we decided to celebrate with him.

Happy Birthday sweet 3 year old. We loved having you visit us. We had so much fun. We hope you come back soon. We love you!!!!
