Medievial Feast

Larry and I were summoned to a Medieval Feast. Here you see the beautiful setting. Our plates were half loaves of bread. This was a culmination of a study on Medieval times in the Home School of our youth Pastor's home. It was a fun night.

Larry dresses as a priest and I as a lady. Here we are with our invitation.

The cook and the waitress (can't remember the official name)

The Jester.

After taking these pictures I dropped my camera and broke it. Sadly I didn't get pictures of the delightful children who were wonderfully dressed as queens and knights. Nor did I get a picture of all there wonderful projects they had done throughout the year that were on display. It was a delightful evening at the palace.

Dave's Graduation May 2011

Three years ago Dave and his family followed God to the city of Chicago because he felt God laying on his heart to go into the ministry. This was a GREAT undertaking requiring a giant leap of faith. The three years are completed and here he is ready to graduate. What a special day this was for our entire family.

Walking in.
Dave and Anita. In Dave's own words, "I couldn't have done without her". Anita was willing to leave her comfort zone and take the leap also. God bless you both. We anxiously await to see where God will lead next.

Dave and his family. What a journey they have been on. They all deserve a medal for the way they tackled this challenge and supported Dave. They have all survived and yes flourished. Larry and I are proud of each of them. Way to go guys!! Proud parents.

Brothers. What a great time Matt and Dave have had living in the same city and even only 2 miles from each other for the last 3 years. Matt has also been a tremendous encouragement and cheer leader for his brother. God bless you boys.

Eric and Sarah and their family got to join us for the celebration. It is nice they live so close to Chicago as they have also got to be a part of Dave's journey. Sadly Chaun and Becky live to far away to be able to join us, but they were with us in spirit and prayer.
